My goal behind all the postings from this shoot was to show some easy ways to layer for the fall. You can mix and match so many items in your closet! That's right, your closet. You don't have to be living in the Upper East Side of Manhattan to know how to dress. You work with what you got! All of the items shot were from my closet or hers (look at those long legs!) Feel free to comment below if you have any questions or need advice!I
Beige Capelet: LOFT
Grey Chunky Sweater: LOFT
Teal Silk Top: Calvin Klein
Dark skinny Jeans: Express
Grey boots: DSW
**When fall transitions to winter, layer sweaters, jackets, and capelets as you please.
Faux fur Vest: Goodwill
Jean Jacket: Gap
Red Men's Boxing Tank: Urban Outfitters
Brown Boots: Gianni Bini
**Don't be afraid to experiment with your layering! Throw the vest over the jacket to mix things up.
Military Jacket: Target
Chambray Shirt: New York & Co.
**Denim on denim is huge this season. Just make sure the shades contrast from your jean to your jacket. We're not trying to bring back the 90s.
Bohemian Circle Dress: Vintage from mom's closet
Faux leather/fur vest: Target
**This may be one of my favorites because I'm a hippie at heart :) Moral of the story, go raid your mom's closet. You never know what you may find. When styled a certain way, you can bring a dress from questionable to sensational.
Safari jacket: Banana Republic
Beige Vneck: American Eagle Outfitters
Snakeskin Print Maxi Skirt: Urban Outfitters
**Juxtaposition is my go-to. Pair a more structured jacket with the silky maxi and bring it all back to daywear by adding a simple vneck.
Red Striped Tee: Splendid
**So Miss Americana. You can rock the red, white, and blue without looking like a tourist. Alex looks like a total badass in this shot nbd. Anyways! I encourage you to mix things up this season!
xx
