5 days til Christmas

Hello friends! There's five days til Christmas! GET EXCITED! I don't know about you but I've been extra excited about Christmas this year! I don't really know why..I've been listening to the music since the beginning of November, been working on (and overspending) on gifts for longer than necessary and have been baking nonstop! Gotta love it!

I'm pretty excited about Xmas also because I don't really know too much of what I'm getting. I love surprises so I'm stoked to see what's in store and I'm actually anticipating giving my presents more because I'm quite proud of them!

Anyways I haven't updates Ezisa in a while because although school's done for now my life doesn't get any less busy. I've been finding some good street style lately. I'll hopefully be researching more and sharing with you the looks from the PreFall 2011 runways shows! That's right they're already whipping out stuff for next fall. But anyways here's some inspiration for the holiday season!

During the break, I'm planning on making one of these sheer skirts with my mom! Went to JoAnns yesterday for fabric so I'm pumped! PS bought some Jeffrey Campbell black studded wood-heeled platforms at Ross yesterday...$20. NBD.

This outfit will be duplicated soon.

I just need that blazer and I'll be set. How freaking great is this?
So much inspiration in only 12 looks.
I love how effortlessly she accomplishes this outfit :)

Brought out the fur vest last week and am loving hers with just the solid black on the bottom! The following quote I came upon recently and I really gave me so much hope! I hope it does the same for you!

Happy Holidays! :) -E

Fashion turns my mood right side up

Well needless to say I've had a ton of stuff going on hence the void in updating this blog. My life has been a rollercoaster but one thing's always constant: fashion ALWAYS turns my mood right side up. I've really been embracing fall clothing lately despite the 75 degree weather...it's cold in my classes....well it is to me anyways so I've been layering and definitely rocking some chunky knits and boots. I'm also in quite the debacle at the moment trying to decide what to ask for for Christmas: a great military inspired winter jacket (cargo-ish or more structured I can't decide) or a great pair of flat, short brown leather boots, or black for that matter (mine are looking quite worn) or I'm really loving clogs lately. So as you can see it's a touch decision any thoughts? Let me know!

Anyways back on track: because fashion always puts me in a better mood, I thought I'd continue the good feelings with some pics of my favs! Celebs: MKA Olsen and Model: Abbey Lee Kershaw. Needless to say I'm utter obsessed with both. Speaking of obsessions: the new Chloe collection. Died. Seriously died. It's so freakin gorgeous and totally ballerina inspired (shout out to my dancin roots!) Pics are Included of course!

Fireplace and 5 cups of tea

(I want to be them it's fine.)

So today the weather decided to take a major drop and didn't reach above 55ish....so I successfully studied the day away in front of the fireplace and had 5 cups of tea. Yup. 5 cups. I'm becoming a major addict. Speaking of addictions, let talk about clothes. In context of the recent temperature drop I'm feeling a need to discuss some of falls must haves and post a few of my fav Sartorialists' pics that just scream fall.

My essentials for this fall: first and foremost, chunky knits. What better than wrapping up in a massive knit cardi for any occasion. This comes to my mind first because one of my Joe's orders came in this week with a cranberry colored T and a massive, oversized chunky knit "cardigan" that I've been wearing for the past 3 days...I have an odd feeling I'm going to need to get some more of them because Lord knows I can't wear that one everyday even though I want to so bad..Anyways, another thing to embrace are cargo skinnies! I'm loving the ones by J Brand and Joe's of course that come in dark grey and army green. Speaking of army green, military is HUGE for fall. I'm needing to invest in a great, easy military jacket that can be worn with just about anything. If you seen any great ones recently, let me know!

Also, as fall approaches (and as I'm always inspired by the fabulous Rachel Zoe), I'm really wanting to get some great jackets and outerwear. I wear cardigans just about everyday and I'm shocked to even say I'm getting tired of them but I am. I'm feeling something a little more structured.

Now I could go on for days about shoes but on the top of my list right now are oxfords (preferable in a tan leather), black clogs (I'm obsessed with the Jeffrey Campbell ones but I cannot walk around campus in 4 inch shoes....well I prolly could but I'd be crazy to) so one with not to high a heel but a good one, and flat, short leather boots (Frye anyone? But seriously one's that fit my budget dang it) Anyways, those are my tops. Of course I'm always in need of a great pump but I'm not in any necessities for them at the moment...I know. What?

Now to the pics!!

Great military choice!

Fur. Check. My fur vest will definitely be making an appearance soon.

Loving the combo

Obsessed with her jacket and pants.

How freakin cute is she! I need her sweater! This will be me going to class everyday. Chunky sweater replacing the cardi.
Just love this all around.

Need her boots.

Need her vest.
