New Years Potential Shoot

New Years Goal: Find that one showstopping piece. Don't attack yourself in all things sequins, glitter, silver, and gold. J Crew is slowing turning me to accept sequin in sparkle... The top below is an "it" piece- and it's from Goodwill. Love thrift stores. If you want to push the limits, pair with liquid leggings like below. A safer route would be a black skinny jean. Regardless, pick one item to showcase and a fun lip, of course. Anissa nails it below.

Sass Photoshoot

I have this really bad habit of calling everything sass lately. Don't ask me why- it just seems like the appropriate comment and the perfect title for this shoot. I mean c'mon... she looks sass :) I love when you can find a look that is a "subtle sexy", if you will. By pairing a feminine tie-neck blouse, and whimsical sheer beaded tank over, it tames down the edge of the liquid leggings and skyhigh heels. Also, there's a girlish charm to the high pony and bright lip that brings it all full circle. 

It's always a little awkward whether or not to comment but please do!!!!! I absolutely love getting questions about all things fashion. I want to show how you can totally revamp your look without having to spend a penny (or finding a perfect bargain if you have to!) Having a second pair of eyes to ransack your closet will allow you to discover outfits you never thought possible. Cue the song "We're All In This Together". #catchy

Stacked Photoshoot: Model and Styling by EKS

Obsessed with this dress and shoot in general. I found this dress at Nordstrom by Rachel Roy. It fits like a dream and was well worth the investment. Wore it to our first meeting in our new sorority house (those pics may come later) and fully intending on wearing it to Christmas eve service.

In true Rachel Zoe fashion, there's never enough jewelry. And for me personally, there are never enough bracelets.

AUDREY MEETS STELLA

 

I finally took the plunge and had my friend Jamie, who just happens to be an amazing photographer, do a photoshoot. I tried to portray a modern Audrey Hepburn through this outfit and the dress is inspired by Stella McCartney's collection from this past year (hence: Audrey Meets Stella). I was so happy with how everything turned out and how absolutely fun and inspiring the entire experience was! Would love to hear your feedback/comments!
