Leather Spectrum Photoshoot

Leather. The word can scare some, but I'm here to tell you that it's actually not that intimidating. As with many trends, there's a spectrum. You can add a little- like the leather lapel detail on a classic black blazer or a lot- like leather pants (or liquid leggings). The leather outfit highlighted below has the juxtaposition of feminine sex appeal and menswear classic. Leather obviously has a certain spice to it, and I couldn't resist the bright red cap-toe pumps (which were $9 at Target!) so I added a men's buttondown to switch things up a bit. Regardless, I loved what what done with leather this season, and that it's not the typical biker jacket. A leather dress is still on my list- just need to find one within the budget!
